I'm not even sure where to start... I am the one who is strong for others and doesn't really talk about the hard situation. I bottle up my emotions (which come out when I drink) I don't know how to deal with my grief and am not sure whether talking to some one would help or not. I lost my father on January 24 of this year 2 days after his birthday. I was there the day before he passed and prayed that night for god to take him and end the misery. I hadn't seen him for 2 weeks. On the day of his passing I never cried till that night because I was being the "strong" one for everyone else. I get sad randomly thinking about how I will never see my father again and I know the emotions will hit me again when we bury him.

i lost my dad 11 years ago but sometimes it feels like yesterday, i miss him terribly and wish he could still be here....day by day and im sorry for others' losses as well...good to see you JO....see you in chat

I still miss him so much. Every day. It feels like every minute he is on my mind. Some days feel better than others. But sometimes I feel like I don't want to pain to go away because then I'll miss him less, like I would lose a part of him, a part of me.
