My poor wife passed away on May 26 2012. Its been a little under 8 months I haven,t done much to recover form her loss except my drinking has gone done.I haven,t gone out drinking and driving after she ran me through hell on any particular day . I remember her loss and I remember the love I had for her. So Iam at a loss .I was under her spell for 35 yrs. Love ,dependent on her Ahh whatever as they say.Iam not getting anywhere.I guess Iam still stuck in the past with her. I do recogonize though I need very badly to break out of the spell Iam in if Iam to survive .I look at it as a lost cause. (Iam 66 tommorow) Feb 11. So Iam going to give it a try (breaking out )not dying only God will decide that and so far he has influenced my life greater than I would think

Hi David, I will be 62 on the 25th of this month and I can't figure out how this is "my" age. Sixty two is starting to sound very young - but it doesn't feel good.  I am glad you are alive and I believe that God is happy you are alive too! May will enjoy the brochure GOOD NEWS FROM GOD you can read or listen to at http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/

1. What is the news from God?
God wants people to enjoy life on earth. He created the
earth and everything on it because he loves mankind. Soon
he will act to provide a better future for people in every
land. He will relieve mankind of the causes of suffering.
DRead Jeremiah 29:11.
No government has ever succeeded in eliminating violence,
disease, or death. But there is good news. Shortly,
God will replace all human governments with his own government.
Its subjects will enjoy peace and good health.
DRead Isaiah 25:8; 33:24; Daniel 2:44.

God has set up a government headed by our King Christ Jesus what will be the only government ruling over the entire earth. What a wonderful time that will be! Please look forward to this with my family - it is coming soon.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
