Hang in there Mo I know how you feel. I have learned to just take everything moment by moment and try to breathe.

So sorry for your loss.  I lost my husband in september.   I know how u feel about suddenly losing your love.  A good thing is to have a close friend during times of grief.  Don't secluded yourself... (speaking from experience).

I'm so sorry for your loss, Mo. You are not alone. I find this quote somehow helpful: "When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you until it seems that you cannot hold on for a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time when the tide will turn".  ---Harriet Beecher Stowe

It just seems as everyone around me is carrying on as normal, every night and day seem long, as nothing to fill the time anymore. Just keep thinking about all we did, all we had planned

Mo,

So sorry, the love of my life has been gone for 2 years and 10 months. It would have been our 35 anniversary on March 14. My life still feels it ended the day he died.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I lost my husband very unexpectedly on January 30 and I feel the same exact way that you do.

Thanks Lizzie, ive got some good friends but the difficult part is when your alone in the house, where u shared everything, i feel so afraid

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
