Maybe it will just help to write this out. My 67 year old mother passed away unexpectedly the day after my 40th birthday. My Dad has been battling lung cancer all year. My Mom has always been a 'sickly' person who quite enjoyed getting attention from the doctors. It has been 17 days since my baby boy went to heaven. Where do I go from here? I have joined every online support group possible. I am currently reading 4 books to help me with the grieving process. Life is getting easier, now that I've come to terms with the fact that I've still got one. My kids are coping, and I'm coping. We've started picking up the pieces by just bending over and doing it!
