About Me:
I'm a 60yr old woman that married her soulmate , John, at age 19. however the marriage ended in divorce 4 yrs later. John and I kept in touch. Nine yrs later I remarried and good christian man,Larry, we had yours, mine and ours for a total of 6 children. we were married 27 yrs.In Feb. of 2006 we lost the next to the youngest daughter in an auto accident and 4 months later I lost Larry to cancer. Four yrs later John and I reconnected. He moved to Missouri to be with me in Oct,2009 . I was very happy and so was he, we planned on remarrying on May2,2010. I loved Larry with all my heart, but I had been IN LOVE with John since I was 18 yrs old. I hope that makes sence.
About my Loss:
John was my soul mate since I was 18. When he moved from N.Y to Missouri in Oct. to be with me ,both of us were extremely happy. Then He got sick in Jan and ended up in the hospital, we thought he had pneumonia. Come to find out he had small cell lung cancer. Drs. gave him 6 months to a year. within 2&1/2 months he was gone. I feel very cheated.

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
