IT IS WONDERFUL SOMEONE IS OUT THERE THAT KNOWS HOW I FEEL, I AM JUST NOT SURE HOW I AM SUPPOSED TO FEEL, AM I DOING OKAY? or do i need more help? I DO NOT KNOW! THE DOCTOR SAYS WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO TREAT THE STRESS WITH MORE AGGRESSION. THEY DO TEST BECAUSE OF PASSING OUT, BUT EVERYTHING COMES BACK NORMAL.THIS A PHOTO OF MY DAUGHTER, SHE WAS 38, OVERDOSE OF PILLS AND HEROIN, OCT23,2010.

I'm so sorry for your loss, I've lost a few friends to the same thing, but thats not like losing a child.. They tell me it gets easier, and I'm waiting fir that to happen myself.. I lost my husband 2nd wee of jan 2011...   stress can do odd things to our bodies, and emotional stress is hard as well.. I don't know what to say to make it easier cause i'm there with you... try to keep your head up, reach out to those you love
I lost my husband from on overdose of pills. I know how hard it is to loose my husband but I couldn't begin to think about my child. I am sorry for you lose. I try to take everyday as a new day and wake up giving it my best shot. Most days I don't do good BUT I might have good moments. Iam beginning theropy and seeing a psychologist. I have a one year old to think about.
I am so sorry. Your daughter was so beautiful. I can only imagine how you must feel, but we will all get through this together. This is a good place to come and grieve. We can all relate in one way or another and we all care! God bless
Since my daughter was killed in August i have been diagnosed with epilepsy and they are having trouble getting my seizures under contro. I spend on average of one week a month in the hospital. I find some comfort in the fact that she was an organ donor and saved 3 peoples lives. The man that hit her has yet to spend a day in jail and has not even had his license taken away. There are more questions than answers right now. How do you move forward from a loss like this? They say that time heals all wounds, no amount of time will ever heal this wound.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
