jb - I like that picture you posted; it's like a view of heaven from below.  My dad's all time favorite show was Matlock.  He said it was the best show ever put on tv.  But, I didn't know he liked it so much til one of his friends told me it was his all time favorite show.  He also loved westerns - Bonanza and anything John Wayne.  He also like Little House on the Prairie and the Waltons a lot.  He LOVED watching Animal Planet for hours at a time, sometimes days at a time.  He loved watching Doctor Phil and Montel Williams.  He loved music shows - we used to watch ice skating together cuz he liked the music and the ice skating.  The Halloween show where the ice skaters dressed up in costumes we watched together every year.  And, he loved music but especially blue grass and country music and gospel music.   He used to love Hee Haw and Lawrence Welk when we were kids, because he liked to listen to the music.  His dog often sat with him while he watched tv.

thnks storyas beleve it or not tht foto woz taking in the graveyard my cuzen si caretaker ther my dad loved ballerd music i sean dr phill over hear on cbs realty and we get animal planet over hear and house on the parie he used to say laura ingels remind him of me for bean a tomboy we hav bean wotching over hear on true enrtertaniment on a re run i no its yrs old bit still good and tht horbel mrs olsen  we enjyed tht wen the billy goat hed butted her and she felll in the mood mum saed wen it happend if my dad had bean hear he wood of laft him self silly

That episode where Mrs. Olsen got butted with the Billy Goat head was one of my dad's favorites - hilarious!  You know - it's funny that you started this thread and then I told you about my dad's favorite show being Matlock and then a few days later Andy Griffith (played Matlock) died.  I saw that Andy Griffith died and that made me sad cuz it made me think of my dad watching Matlock and made me realize how my dad's generation is going.

You said on another board that you were better at taking pictures than computers.  You are good at taking pictures.  I tried to take a picture like that up through the trees one time, and it was just flat.  Yours is 3D and almost heavenly.  It is beautiful.  You are a good photographer.  Thank you for sharing that beautiful picture.

My dad loved John Wayne and westerns too, but I don't know the film you are talking about with the Amish boy.  Another film my dad like was Slingblade - I think because my dad was abused as a child and the abused boy in that film had someone come and rescue him.

Oh, I know what you are talking about - I think it is called Witness.  When you said Harrison Ford, I remembered it. I saw that a long time ago.  That was a good movie.  I think my dad would have liked that movie, but I don't know if he ever saw it.
