I saw a post somewhere where the surviving spouse got rid of all departed belongings or at least stored it. I more or less incline to do that but at the samed time continue the legacy of the departed.Of course who the hell would remember me. Yes I want to change things at home. I have 35 yrs of memories  Stuff to sort thru stuff to put in a scape book.Stuff to throw away.I get ideas as I go along.

Its a burden,Our life was a burden in the later years

I to have a lot of my wifes clothes and other things.  she died almost 3 years ago.   i been by myself since.  my children hardly call me even though i leave messages.  they live in other states.  combat was easier then what I am going thru right now.   my grief and depression is the most severe in my life.  i truly see no happiness left in my life.  I have gone for help several times but nothing had helped.   I try to keep busy writing poems and the second part of my book.   At the moment its 1 pm and I have not gotten out of the house because of how I feel.   everything just looks dark.  Have a great weekend and fathers day.    irwin

its unreal how fast stuff accumulates when your just living your life together.  i look at all of jason's stuff with good memories and yet at the same time overwhelmed. i guess just take your time and do a little when you can and/or maybe ask for help from someone close. wishing you well.

"Welcome to the group.  I lost my partner on February 5th this year, so it's still pretty raw for me too.  Reading through your story really touched a chord with me.  Like you, I didn't think I would ever find a group like…"

Being the Other Woman/Other Man

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
