Profile Information

About Me:
I am 33 years old. I have a very wonderful supportive husband and 3 children. I come from a large Irish Catholic family with a total of 6 kids and my mom and dad. My family has had many issues with drugs and mental health problems. Over the past few years I feel like all the people in my world are leaving this world to see what comes next. I am so so sick and tired of lossing family, friends, and people I have known my whole life. Starting with my Dad in 2012. I want to make sure that my siblings story's are told because if it can help even 1 person than they didn't die for nothing. Family has always been the most important thing in my life, and I'm kissing each and every member of them.
About my Loss:
On April 26, 2018 I lost my little sister Amanda Jacobs to suicide, she hung herself and on October 10, 2019 I lost my older brother Joseph Cannon to a drug overdose, his 2nd OD on Fentanyl since Amanda died. They were the 2 siblings closest to me out of 6 kids including myself. Joe a year older and Amanda a year younger. I have lost both of them in less than 2 years. What is left of my family is falling apart with being blamed for ones death and a part of the others.

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
