Research has shown that writing can be emotionally and physically healing.

Online Grief Support uses the blog feature for writing therapy – You can choose to make it private or public. To get started, go to your profile page and locate the "Blog Posts" module in the middle column. Click the "Add a Blog Post" link. You can add text, links, images, and files to your blog post using the blog editor toolbar. You can also select the privacy of your blog post to allow anyone in the community to view it, just your friends in the community, or just you. Go to Settings and then click on Privacy.

Write your very deepest thoughts and feelings about the most traumatic experience of your entire life or an extremely important emotional issue that has affected you and your life. In your writing, really let go and explore your deepest emotions and thoughts. You might tie your topic to your relationships with others, including parents, lovers, friends or relatives; to your past, your present or your future; or to who you have been, who you would like to be or who you are now.

That is so sweet.
My favorite color rose is yellow as well. I had a friend that would always put yellow roses on my car before I went to work. It always brought a smile to my face.

This is an excellent idea. Today would have been my husbands birthday. Yesterday my son called me to go to the cemetery to visit his father. My son was 19 when he lost his father a little more than a year ago. I wrote an amazing letter to my husband. I don't know where it all came from, it just keep coming along with a stream of tears. Maybe I will post it on a blog. For now, it is sitting with yellow roses at the cemetery. My husband love to give me my favorite color rose which of course was yellow.
