Profile Information

About Me:
I am 56 years old, I am married to a wonderful husband. I have a daughter age 17 and a son age 20. I have a job as Peer Specialist which means I support others who have a mental illness with different issues that come up. I like art and theater.
About my Loss:
I am both sad and angry. My sister age 54 died of cancer two weeks ago. It's a sad story. I am estranged from my family for abusive reasons. The sadness about this whole thing is I never got to have a sister and we never got to say goodbye. I try so many times to speak to her, but it always would just fizzle out. This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
