Pauline I am so sorry for your loss, i know it can be difficult to lose someone so dear to you... I lost my best friend some years ago and even the little things remind me of her she was truly a sister to me. I found that prayer is not just an emotional crutch but it does help! i found the scripture at 1 corinthian reassuring it says that God is the "Father of tender mercies, and of all mercies." Death no matter who we are or where we are from hurts us all it devastates us to the core. Keep praying and relying on God to help you. Those memories you shared with your love will help you as well, even journaling helps. It allows you to recall those beautiful times, things you said to each other and things you would say to them if they were hear. Time to me may not heal those wounds, I look to a time when the ones we love we get to see them again. That to me is the only time we will be able to truly be healed of their loss. Keep going my friend and praying for comfort, and I will do the same for you.

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true. Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions. This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
