Oh man! I just had to share this. I found myself missing my
Beloved aunt again. I went for a ultrasound for my leg. I was asking
Her for help, because a test, no matter how minor, you can use the
Help. I went in for the test. I felt the loss bigtimebitime. I thought I
Was nervous, but then I told the tech that I lost my aunt a couple of weeks ago.
I was crying and really feeling the pain, but she understood my pain. I did get the
Test done, it was hard to get through, but we talked while the test was going on.
I tell you. I've been through hell and back, this is not a good tome for medical tests,
There is one thing, you live your life, but add grief and having things happen in between, it's just not the best timing. I talked to another priest I know, we've been in
Touch for a few years, he said that it takes at least 1 year before you start to feel some closure. I believe it too. We all know what it's like to lose someone close.I
Believe with the love of Jesus, we will overcome our deepest pain, and in some form,
Try to feel better and move on without crying every time you talk about your loved one,
Death is never easy to accept, if we didn't mourn for a close relative, that's not healthy.

May God bless all of you!

Yes Christine....The Bible can help.

Jesus for example can feel our pain. Notice the following scripture. Jesus was responding to the pain his friends were feeling because of their loss.

Joh 11:33 When Jesus saw her weeping and the Jews who had come with her weeping, he groaned within himself and became troubled

Joh 11:35 Jesus gave way to tears.

Joh 11:38 Then Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.

A few verses later Jesus resurrected Lazarus.

We learn something comforting in this account.

1) Jesus loves us and knows our pain
2) His Father loves us as well.
3) There will come a time when we will be reunited with our loved ones...how wonderful that will be.

This knowledge will NOT take our pain away, but it can comfort us, and give us hope.

"Welcome to the group.  I lost my partner on February 5th this year, so it's still pretty raw for me too.  Reading through your story really touched a chord with me.  Like you, I didn't think I would ever find a group like…"

Being the Other Woman/Other Man

This is for anyone who has lost their lover to death and you were the other woman/other man in their life. We have to grieve in silence. I can't find any support groups and feel like I'm the only one going through this situationSee More
