Am I the only one who feels my loved one sends me messages, hears his voice in my head and very occasionally feels the sensation of his touch?  For instance, I now drive Thomas' car and cars were Thomas' business.  He ran a European Auto Service Center 2 miles from our home.  Our car has been in the shop for 3 weeks and I was ever so happy to pick it up last week.  On my short drive home, an annoying, loud plastic sounding squeak began.  It was so loud over the radio playing, that I turned off the radio and tried to identify it.  I felt it was near me and the passenger seat.  I pushed on the passenger door panel without resolution.  I began to feel annoyed and frustrated thinking I would have to take the car back to the shop.  Then I loudly stated, "Thomas, Really?" and the squeaking stopped.  Just like that-it stopped.  Even I was taken aback and sheepishly said, "thank you baby, I know you are with me."  But I thought Thomas was just excited for me to have our car back and making his presence known.  Ahh, but there was more to come.  The next evening I drove far to the opposite side of the city for a concert.  When I neared my friend's home, the oil light appeared and yes, the car was low on oil.  I called Pete, the owner of the shop and he told me the type of oil to buy and add 1 quart and i would be safe to drive it home if the oil light did not reappear.  Post-concert, on my way home after adding the oil...all was well, until the coolant light appeared and the flashing light stated to, "Turn OFF ENGINE."  So there I was at 1 am at the side of a busy highway with a Sheriff behind me to protect me from the traffic.  The Sheriff also called a tow truck who took me home after dropping off our car again at the shop.  So you must know how helpless I felt after waiting for the car for 3 weeks, then having 2 more problems within 24 hours.  I now think the original squeak was Thomas saying, "Take it BACK! IT's not FIXED YET!!"  I could choose to ignore these communications, or embrace them as I have.  I have had my pager turn itself on, the paper shredder start shredding nothing of it's own accord, seen flashes of light in my kitchen during the daytime and outside my window at night, and most of these experiences were witnessed by family or friends.  The night Thomas died on Christmas evening, our friends did not know.  They had invited us over for Christmas Dinner to which we sadly declined due to Thomas' decline.  About 15 minutes after Thomas' passing, our friend's dog jumped up and ran to the kitchen, started jumping and playing with...no one for about 2 or 3 minutes, then he watched up and out the patio door as no one seemed to depart.  They learned of Thomas' passing the next day.  I'm just saying'...

Thank you for sharing these stories Melodie! The one with the friends dog gave me chills. =) My experiences so far have been 2 dreams and feeling his presence. I wrote about most of them in my blog, "When will this make sense". Be easier to link you to it.

http://www.onlinegriefsupport.com/profiles/blogs/when-will-this-mak.... I did have an additional experience almost a week ago feeling him lying in bed with me. Few of the presences I have just felt him in general but the main, intense ones it's always been a specific spot in the room I feel if I look he'll be there.

hi you are certainly not alone there, my alarm clock went off without being set, every night when i go to bed i tell him i love him he played a song for me saying the words "im still in love with you" by dragon a kiwi/ aussie band. mike was kiwi , i am an aussie. i can feel him wrap his arms around me, one morning at 1 when i couldnt sleep i heard a male voice come from my kitchen table area while i was making a coffee, he has helped me find things, he opens doors quite regularly, i recently tiled my kitchen floor i heard the offcuts scraping together, i said to him, do you like the tiles? it stopped scraping. i was sitting down listening to our song one day and i smelt cigarette smoke pass by me. and the night before last i was laying in bed and my hand and lips were tingling, we used to fall asleep while holding hands. when he first passed away my daughter got in trouble and i had the most amazing calm go across my body, and every night i go to bed and stroke his face on a photo i keep by my bed and i have the most amazing feeling of love, and his silouette on the photo glows in the dark. he has also been visiting my kids, siblings and parents.
