About Me:
I am a mother concerned about her 46 yr old son who has lost someone
About my Loss:
My son is 46, he lost his partner of less then 1 yr to suicide over a year ago. He's still cries everyday and won't stop talking about it and it's about to drive the family crazy as the person he was with was not liked by anyone in the family, he was a drug addict (they met in rehab)! It's hard for me to continue to be sympathetic or compassionate and he gets mad at me because he wants to continually talk about it and I don't, honestly, I'm fed up with hearing about it and his dad feels the same way as does the rest of the family. I've suggested grief counseling, online sites like this one but all he want to do is dwell on this We're at a loss.7X24.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
