About Me:
I am a mother of two beautiful young men. I have a wonderful, loving husband, and two cute dogs. I have a very happy life and have many friends and loved ones. The only sad part of my life is that my oldest son has brain cancer. See below for that awful situation.
About my Loss:
I am a mother of two grown boys, 27 years and 24 years. The oldest is married and has two small children. They are in Texas. He was diagnosed with stage four brain cancer (GBM) last April and was told he had 6 to 18 months to live. His wife does not like me and will not allow me to visit him in Texas. I have not seen a picture of my grandchildren since June of 09. My younger son is in college and we have an excellent relationship. My husband and I paid my Texas son's mortgage for three years and paid their debt off twice. We did not know our son was sick until the doctors discovered a baseball sized tumor in his head last March. There is much more to this incredible nightmare, but it would take hours to explain it all.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
