About Me:
45 year old firefighter, with a 2 year old daughter, and a 4 year old son
About my Loss:
Oct. 7th of this year I lost my wife. Still waiting on blood work, but coroner said he new it was of natural causes. She died in her sleep while I was at work. Her father was staying the night to help watch the kids. She was bi-polar, and had borderline personality disorder. When I arrived home he had just found her about 10 min. Before my arrival. I had to try CPR even though I new she was gone. Both the kids had to go through the sight of all the people that showed up to help. As a firefighter there were so many public service people that came I think they are in shock. Now I am so devastated and I am still waiting to wake up from this nightmare. I am lost and only keep it together for my beautiful babies. IT HURTS SO VERY BAD!!!! I can say nothing is helpful, but friends and family right now.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
