About my Loss:
On September 6th 2014 I lost my Grandad suddenly due to a huge heart attack. 6 weeks later I lost my uncle, he was killed tragically in a motorcycle accident which was not his fault. It involved his bike and a bus and the it was the bus drivers fault. 2 weeks later my sister nearly died from bacterial meningitis, if we had not brought her to hospital in the next hour she would have gone into a coma and died. Nearly a year on from all this heartache and we find out that a close family friend has been given 3 months to live due to cancer. They say these things come in threes but with my family its never ending.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
