About my Loss:
my daughter died at age 39. she suffered all her life with multiple disabilities. she was born with spina bifida and died 11/4/11 I had taken care of her since i was 17 and her loss is life altering for me. I miss her so much and am not quite sure how to go about living a "normal" adult life since my entire life was dedicated to her and her care. I also recently had breakup of 9 year relationship on top of my grief this is proving to be a challenge to go one day without a good cry.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
