Hi Nadine!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mom. I lost my Mom to cancer on April 15, 2010, just 10 days after her 67th birthday. I miss her everyday! While I am glad that she is not suffering, I still want to be with her. Prior to my Mom's death, I lost my spouse, Jackie, to a sudden heart attack on November 12, 2009. They died 5 months apart. I lost 30 lbs. and to date, I've only gained back 10 lbs. Everyone was concerned about my weight loss, including my physician, but I couldn't eat and trying to force myself only made me physically ill. Take care of yourself to the best of your ability, but your Mom has only been gone 5 months and it will take time.

Peace and Blessings,

Tammy

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
