About Me:
I am single, 47 years old. Work as a financial coordinator for a private non profit. I have 3 siblings. My life is mainly my job. I only have one friend. I am very shy. I have depression and social phobia
About my Loss:
I had lived with my mother my entire life. As I grew older she came to live with me in my home. She died on May 13, 2011, she was 91 and had many health problems. I am having a very hard time with my grief and feel guilt as she was in pain and I certainly didn't want her to continue that way. My siblings tell me it's time to move on and I am being negative when I explain my feelings.

I'm so sorry about your mom. Please feel free to message me anytime. Personally I don't think you ever get over the loss of a parent.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
