Profile Information

About Me:
I live in Hawaii and I work in the elementary schools with children of special needs. I have 4 living step sons, 11 grandchildren, 2 deceased children. I have a dog who has 2 puppies. My husband rides a Harley Davidson and we enjoy riding.
About my Loss:
I lost my most precious beloved daughter Jesslyn 2 1/2 months ago from a terribly short battle with Cancer. I took her out of the country to Mexico for treatment. We spent last year fighting with all we had to fight with. I had to fly her home to Hawaii via air ambulance because no doctor would help her. Watching her die for four weeks was torture. She was married four hours before she took her last breath. I don't know how to live without her. We had so many hopes and dreams for her. She was going to finish college, get married and have children. Cancer took it all away.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
