About my Loss:
My dad passed away from Anaplastic Thyroid Cancer in Aug 2008. I'm taking it really hard to the point where I can't deal with seeing a little girl with her dad. He was my rock, I could tell him anything. Now he's gone, and taken from me in 4 measly months.

Just happened to see your facing a birthday. I hope you are doing okay. I'm sorry to hear about your Dad too. I lost my Dad a few years ago and still miss his wisdom and support. If I can do anything for you, just listen, please let me know. Take care and God Bless. ((hugs))

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
