About Me:
I am 21 years old, working full time, just trying to figure out what I want to do with my life.
About my Loss:
My mom died 2 weeks ago, September 26th. It was sudden and completely unexpected. I was very close with my mom and admired her so much.... I can't put into words what my loss is about because I still haven't fully grasped it yet. I'm a 21 year old woman without a mother.

Bailey, I am so sorry for the loss of your Beautiful Mom! I loss my Mom as well it was March 6 2009, but it still feels as if it were yesterday. All I can say to you is to ask God for Strength to help get you through the long Days ahead, and be there for your Dad because he will need you. My Dad died 44 Days after my Mom he just gave up he had no will to live! I miss them both so much , but my Mom she was my Best Friend and everyday is a challenge because I know that I will never see or talk to her again! well not on this earth I wont, but I know I will see her again in Heaven, but that could be a long time. Please talk about your feeling because it does help, and so does this site. I do not think that I would have gotten through any of this without finding this group and sharing my feelings with all of you. God Bless, Dana

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
