About Me:
I thought we were going to grow old together. God had different plans. This not where I thought I would be at 48.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband 08/31/2016 he had a hemorrhagic stroke on 08/26/2016. I received the call at work I had to come right away. He had surgery and woke up and was responsive and was able to communicate with hand squeezes and nodding. Doctors said he was a miracle. He had to have another surgery he was able to open his eyes one last time when I talked to him. He was heavily sedated due to blood pressure and brain pressure. He was taken for a CT scan on 08/31/2016 at 3:30 am and when they brought him back at 4 I woke up and knew something was wrong he went into cardiac arrest. The hospital room went crazy the doctor came and said that he probably would not make it. So I held his hand and told him I loved him and told them to stop the CPR. I have no regrets just sadness that he is gone.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
