Thought I would share with you another poem I wrote,

The lifeline of love

We were knitted together as one
it was you that was my lifeline
until death came and took you away
and snapped right through our strong twine

Now I am falling so very fast
no lifeline with which to save me
I never thought the line would break
thought it would last for eternity

How can I live without my lifeline
seems such an impossibility
can my heart beat or my lungs breathe
when youve been taken away so cruelly

Your the glue that held me together
without your glue I'm falling apart
you helped me through the stormy weather
and in your true love held my heart
