Night time is my nightly nightmare, It's the time I miss you the most

I go outside and gaze with eyes wide open at the shaded sky and melancholy moon

I search out the sky studded stars one by one

I silently speak to each star and ask, is that you shining?

I light candles in the darkness and their flames dart and dance in the black breeze

Do you hear me when I whisper in the wind, where are you?

I hear our wind chimes sing their sweet song

Do you make them dance?

I call out your name and ask your spirit to give me a sign you are near

Do you fill the silence with your sentences?

I play your tunes time after time and hope the sounds spiral up into the sky

Do you hear them?

I come back inside and collapse like a corpse

Do you see me?

I gaze gloomily at the television in a trance

Do you watch it with me?

I debate the daily dramas with you

Do you hear me?

I write down the thoughts in my head and create poems

Do you help me?

I eventually go to bed with sadness in my head

Do you lay next to me?

I miss you

Do you know how much?

I love you

Do you see the luminescence of my love from up above?

My nightly nightmare, it never stops
