What a surprise - this change from living in the valley of despair to a land of potential opportunity.  Yes it's true and according the "Healing After Loss" the shift is subtle yet noticeable.  For instead of looking toward the day with sorrow and heart ache, we notice our mind is awakened to a new way thinking.  We are actually feeling happy and content more often than not.

Without knowing the exact time it happened, we are just realizing that something is good is going on.  For sure there will be set backs, but only to be reminded of who we are now that our loved one is gone.   None-the-less- we are grateful and blessed, and respectfully waiting for what other wisdom will come to us.

"I welcome, as a blessing from my loved one, the return of light and joy to my life.  Yet as I look forward to that time, I will continue the grieving process in order to move gratefully from one stage to the other.
