Profile Information

About Me:
I'm 29 years old and never in my life thought that I would be a widow this young. I have 4 lovely children ages 14,13,6 and 4. I'm currently a Dental Hygiene student with one semester left to go before I graduate.
About my Loss:
I lost my husband on August 21, 2011. We were together for 15 years and have 4 children together ages 14,13,6,and 4. He was my first love, my first everything. He meant the world to me and he was too young to go. I thought I would get to spend the rest of my life with him. I miss him so much and I'm lost and lonely without him.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
