About Me:
I'm a 21 year old undergraduate from the UK. I joined this site because I feel I have nobody I can talk to about my loss, or who would fully understand and so I can talk to others who are going through similar experiences.
About my Loss:
Three years ago I lost my daughter Monica. I had what is called a late miscarriage (where the baby dies between 12 and 24 weeks in the second trimester). After she died my mental health problems got worse and it took years before I was able to talk about what happened properly, even to my mum and my ex partner (her father). In September I got a tattoo to remember her, a pink flower with the letter M, so that I feel she is always with me.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
