About my Loss:
My son Jackson was the most amazing child. My husband and I love him so much. We are devastated and trying to figure out how to go on. Jackson was 4 yrs and 1 month old when he tragically and suddenly passed. A trusted family member was hired for a few hours to watch him. My sister in law had a pool and I told her the only way I would allow him over is if she watched him like a hawk. Well, she didn't and now we are totally completely utterly heartbroken. It's been a year and I cry morning, noon and night. Living the nightmare of my life.

Hi Kendra

I am so sorry to have to welcome you to this group. Your boy is just so adorable. I lost my son Daniel suddenly in a tragic car accident.I wish I had the words that could help your pain but I don't. I can only tell you that I truly believe his spirit lives on and that you will be together one day. Love and prayers to you and your husband.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
