Darla, my heart goes out to you...please accept my condolences on the loss of your parents. I personally believe "being strong" at a time like this is a myth. Grieving is so difficult and we all grieve differently. Take life one day at a time and as you get through each day you will come to realize the healing process has begun. I know this sounds very simple but in reality it is very complex. After the death of my daughter I was on an emotional roller coaster. I'm still on that roller coaster but the ride has smoothed out a bit. Your loss is very recent and the holidays make it especially difficult.
Be kind to yourself and take care; come back and let us know how you are doing.
Sincerely,
Laura
