I'm 58 and I'm a teachers aid. I'm an animal lover especially cats.
About my Loss:
My husband passed away on August 12, 2016. We were together for 43 years married for 33. I was 15 and he was 17 when we started our life long journey.He died from complications of open heart surgery and kidney failure.He was on home dialysis for three years.

Losing your spouse

I'm not sure if I'm posting this correctly since this is my first time. I joined this group today. I've been looking for a site and I found this one and read many posts and felt connected. My husband Steven passed away a almost a year ago on August 12, 2016. My first year without him is upon me in a few weeks and I feel as though it was yesterday.The day he died I went along with him.
