This was in the comment section, changed it to discussion in case anyone else wanted to jump in on this great site:

I think it is well within the guidelines of the web site to share an outside resource, particularly when it relates to grief recovery.  My personal experience has been very positive when I found a local in-person grief recovery group through the website:  www.griefshare.com.  The group recovery and healing process was extremely helpful to me...and I hope to others.

hi i really need help to get my life start again i think after losing members of my family my life just shut down and i lost hope and motivation so please if you can help me by any way to get through grief just tell me how to make every day a chance to move on

I am really sorry for your many losses. I too, in the last year, have lost a brother and a grandmother, my mom had a severe stroke and my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer and is going through treatments as we speak. I have felt stressed and deeply saddened at times, but I have a good spiritual life, friends and family and they have all helped me cope. I have also found that hearing other peoples experiences and seeing how they coped helps as well. Online resources that are available offers that help and one such series of articles I found helpful is when tragedy strikes- how can you cope .I hope you will be able to find the peace that I have found despite the harsh circumstances of life.

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
