This coming Friday, August 5, 2022, I'll be turning yet another year older (44), and you would think that, as time goes by living without you by my side, would get easier; however, it hasn't gotten any easier for me, at all. I miss you, Jeremy James, with every single day that goes by.

The entire first year after you passed, all I wanted to do was die, but I'm still here without you; I've gotta say, 'That's not fair'. You left home, on the way to another job, but you never came back. Your ashes made it to me, but that's not the way I prefer you, which is alive, and right by my side. Instead, I walk this world alone, no matter who I've got beside me. You were my pilot through life, that job belongs to someone else now, but you'll always be guiding my heart.

Joe,

Wikacy is back up and running, so I've asked for someone to remind me how to share the links. "Forgetful Jones", should have been my name...ha, ha, ha, but seriously, I'll send you the info as soon as I hear back from one of my fellow associates on the site.

Joe,

Wikacy, the website where I do my writing has been taken off the internet, it's happened before, but as soon as it's back online, I'll send the link.

Joe,

I wish I had a knack for writing music, I do have one for singing, but can only do it if I'm singing with the artist. If I'm singing by myself, I cannot hold a tune in bucket. My father used to play in several different bands when I was a kid, but his alcoholism got him kicked out of each of them.

IF you'd like to read what I've written I can shoot you the link to my author page.

Penny,

That is amazing, impressive and quite prolific writing!  I wish I had such a talent.  I find a great deal of contentment in writing music.  It has been a real sanctuary for me over the last couple of years.

Good luck with your continued writing and hopefully we'll see it in the online stores :-)

And good luck with finding someone who you can feel content and be yourself with!  I think everyone deserves that.

Moving Through the Seven Stages of Grief

When a heart breaks, you’re left gasping for air. After a while you seem fine, yet fall apart unexpectedly at random moments, sanity seemingly forsaken. There’s a saying that when a heart breaks, it cracks to allow golden love to shine through onto others. Do you see the value in going through this?It may not feel like it now, but grief is an honor. It is an honor to feel that much, to have loved that much. It teaches you compassion, gratitude, resilience, and the importance of grabbing life by…See More
