About Me:
I am 22.

Lost my Mom on March 10, 2013
About my Loss:
I Lost my Mom on March 10, 2013 to a blood clot getting stuck in her lungs. It was a day after her second surgery for weight loss (Sonobello)
She died and came back to life 5 times. The 5th time is when I finally got to the hospital, there i held her, until moments later the doctors said shes officially gone. 5 has always been my favorite number, since elementary school. She had been gone EXACTLY 5 months on my 21st birthday, where we planned a road trip to go see my brother in California. Canceling those plans was devastating. She also as i said before, died and came back to life 5 times, on the 5th in my arms, she passed for the last time.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
