I just lost my mom. I am 34 yo only child suddenly lost mom to ovarian cancer she was 58 yo. Mom also had the diagnosis of Paranoid Schizophrenia witch can explain sort of why mom never really said she was in pain till it was too late. Mom lived in CA I moved here to TN to marry my now ex husband last time I saw mom alive was at my dear Grandma's Funeral just two years ago. Mom passed so suddenly I did not even get to say good bye. I have a lot of anger issues around this that may take some time to get over. I miss my mom dearly. Your daughter loves you.

April 17,2011 was the last day I spoke to my mom. She was abducted from her home. She was missing for 3 months until they found her remains in a wooded area far from her home. She had been shot in the head. I still cant wrap my head around all of this. Its like a nightmare I can't wake up from:(

Wow Laurena, I'm so sorry. I feel so depressed and hopeless, can't imagine what it's like to lose so many loved ones :(

I am 19 and recently lost my Mother and younger brother. I have dealt with huge loss before with my fathers death when I was younger but I dont see the hope I used to have without my mother here.

I'm 20 and lost my  mum in April. The world doesn't make sense without her in it and I'm struggling on a constant basis.

I'm 24, and I just lost my mom this January.  She was only 48, so it's strange to think that she was carrying me around this time in her life.  The whole thing has sent me into extreme existential musings.  One must cherish life.  Details of the trauma can be found at this blog: http://spiritspout.blogspot.com/

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
