Hi Dear. I have lost two people in my life...my fiancé when I was 19 and my husband of 16 years in December of 2017. I too have found struggles with God, but my sweet Reverend explained to me that God does not “give” and god does not “take away”. He would never take a precious child from parents but it happens. Daddy should not die. But it happens. My 4 year old holds her Daddy precious in her heart and we talk to “Daddy’s moon” and “Daddy’s sun” so she feels like our God’s Earth is suporting her. I’m not sure if that is the right thing to do or not, but I know God created the moon and sun and it’s not going away...just like our love for those who are living in the heaven we create that is blessed and holy just for them. We are all doing the best we can. Please have faith in yourself and you will be ok. My heart reaches out to you. ~ Jenny

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
