Hi everyone:

As many groups for windowers I found are too far away for me, I thought I'd try starting one in my area.

Hudson county NJ encompasses the following cities:

Hoboken

Jersey City

Union City

West New York

Guttenberg

North Bergen

Secaucus

Just to name a few. If you're hurting and grieving and feel alone, frightened at the loneliness at what each day brings you, then maybe we can start a group.

I know my days are filled with fear, loneliness. And each day it seems to be getting worse not better. Im lucky to speak with members over the phone from this website but I know there are others suffering alone.

Please e mail or leave me a message telling me you location and interest.

Thanks

RIch

Type In ZIP code

This is the link above to find a group.

Just type in your zip or city name.

You are not alone.

Let me know if you need help - I will do it for you and copy-paste addresses here.

Nora:
I checked and the locations are still too far.

I'm hoping those in my area will seek help and contact me.

Richard, are you sure?

I know that inner sabotage - nobody can help me anyway - I have the same. I found the group, sent them an email and all I need just call and ask about time - no way. I am scared of making my pain public.

I only checked 1 town from your list and there are locations on 4-10 miles from it.

Don't give up! You have to start calling them - probably they can help with transportation.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
