On March 9th 2013 we mourned the loss of a wonderful man, husband and father; a man who always put others before himself, who loved and cherished his family and his friends.
My Dad lived life to the fullest with both his friends and family and if he could speak to us today while watching over us, he would tell everyone not to mourn his death but to celebrate the life he lived and the memories he has left us.
Throughout his cruel illness, never once did he utter a complaint; in fact it became an expected answer of his to say “IM FINE” to any question about how he felt.
In a sense he was very right as he was the finest of all fine fathers and husbands.
He was also very lucky that just before he fell into a coma, he had the pleasure to have by his bedside all his children, including those residing abroad.
We don’t say goodbye to my Dad but to tell him that we will love him forever as he will always be with us in our hearts.
