Best things in life don´t cost ANYTHING. This is my experience s a pet owner. There is so much more my dog gives me than most humans being will ever be able or WILLING. In her world I am her best friend, she puts her life in danger for me. If I went hungry, she would be right next to me. When I am in bedrest she does never leave bed before I do, NEVER. She just gets food, shelter and love...but her LOYALTY is much beyond what I can possibly give her. She is my friend, companion and compassion is her language. I now know how therapeutic animals really are. She is small and jumps on the chair for me to put her the leash since bending can hurt my back after 2 surgeries. Nobody had to teach her that. She DOES on her OWN. Most humans wouldn´t do half what she does. I think there is something to be said about their language we barely know how to speak, but doesnt make them less. In fact, the discussion in many countries about animals having a SOUL, is nothing more or less than the rights before the law. For instance, since New Zealand aquired the concept animals DO HAVE A SOUL, animal abuse before the law is the same as abusing a child or elder, and punishable by law. It´s about time we think all BEINGS with same rights. Because in practice, when we feel to have more rights to live than the vulnerable, we destroy our own past and future, both as child and elders. We will be vulnerable too. And what we set in motion for them is exactly what we GET. Nothing more, nothing less. I would never hit or let anyone hit my precious pet. She is to be protected and given safe boundaries to be herself without doing the wrongs, but how many times irresponsible owners take their load of crap on the animals or children around. Most common includes not taking for walks or to run in parks or appropriate spaces. Same to the child, they will missbehave because their seclusion. ALl they need is love, and a little exercise, which is wonderful to the owner and animal. THey can wait all day long waiting for their owner and are the happiest ever opening the door. I love the party I get coming home. It´s the happiest part of the day being cherished by just arriving home. How many people cherish us just because we EXIST in their lives with nothing more to content. They need so little to give so much. It´s a constant reminder how life is SIMPLE and yet BEAUTIFUL. In my life I estimate I find in 100 interactions, I return from one richer than I went. To most I give what I am and what I know out of generosity. I know they can´t give much in return because they cycle universal energy in a much lower frequency. And perhaps in other fronts they are so much ahead of me anyhow, because my judgement is not as OWNER of universal ENERGY rights. I just see from my point of view. There is not more or less to it, just people on different channels sort of speak. And in time we see how much more they all an do in whatever I´m most imperfect. But for my own little channel energy wise. takes perhaps 1000 people I meet to find one that inspires me. And I am not talking about buying them 100%. Just bits and pieces of concepts and ideas that truly expand my mind. Knowing that however, makes all the difference in the world. Meaning, I don´t interact with who is not useful for more than we can be help to one another, and in most cases in fact we will see coming back in other hands and overwhelming amounts of people much after we plant the seed of love from our hearts outwards. But eventually the universe returns multiplied, but not necessarily in human hands or or thousand paews. We just keep the mind and heart open to RECEIVE by giving it all away. And by giving more out than getting, is a sure way to construct a life in ABUNDANCE. And this abundance is not about resources only. It´s of all th things that will never have a PRICE TAG. In fact, by refusing resources in what they demand for us, proves OUR INTENSION. THere is something to be said for what kinds of demands we ACCEPT for the money. In the work, family, peers and friends...it´s by looking at their agenda and srefusing whats not right that we prove ourselves to ur creator. And all returns in so many ways above and beyond what we let go in times of need. If my dog could speak many languages, however, she would speak LOVE LOVE LOVE. Not that she can´t bite or I cannot be a shark after our well being. But its about who we bite and what for. To deffend ourselves it´s ok. But in most cases and societies the right to SILENCE preserves fully the HUMAN RIGHTS. If you look at animals rights, children´s rights, women rights, and elders rights, I am positive you can understamnd why some countries are more DEVELOPED than others. It´s about how they treat the vulnerable, where their sharp teeth bites that tells what is truly important beyond the material aspects of life. And unless we learn to live well with ourselves when ALONE, in solitude, we wwill think the only time we will have the right to silence is after we die. So, quality time with SELF is te best PROTECTION one can find in any society. Learning who can interact and how and reinforcing with words how we want to be is a PRECIOUS SKILL. Won´t my DOG just know that? Or the elders? Or the children? THey know by instinct to stay away from abuse and closer to their loved ones who give love in return...unconditional love. Get that froma  pet if most people around are not capable or willing. They sure can teach us something. My dog is named after Frida Khalo for this great passionate woman that never gave up in life after so much suffering of her body, incredible Mexican artist.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
