Dave,

Our family lost my brother in law on Sept 5th 2012 after a month long pancreatic cancer take over. I say that because he was diagnosed on August 9th and told he had days to weeks. He had been sick and was being treated for an infection but when the pain got too bad he asked his wife to take him to the ER. He had no health or life insurance - so he put it off as long as he could stand.

We feel your pain . . .

We have found comfort from the Holy Scriptures. May I share some encouraging thoughts from the Bible with you?

(Isaiah 41:10) Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not gaze about, for I am your God. I will fortify you. I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.’
(Isaiah 41:13) For I, Jehovah your God, am grasping your right hand, the One saying to you, ‘Do not be afraid. I myself will help you.’

May you have peace.

Brenda

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
