Joseph, I am so sorry for your loss.  I can relate to how you feel, 8 weeks ago today I lost my Dad suddenly.  Lately I feel like I am reliving that day.  My thoughts and prayers are with you as you continue to grieve and cope with the loss of your wife.

Joseph - I am so sorry for your loss. After losing my heart I can't look at the date and not associated it with how many days he's been gone. It's like an endless countdown.

Light a candle for your wife today.

I understand how you feel. It has been a year since my husband died suddenly. There is not a day that goes by that I see or hear something that makes me think of him. I can say it does get easier as the time passes I do not cry as much.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
