You bought me this at our church bookstore just over a year before you could leave me. Today I keep it with me and wonder why these words seem like you were saying goodbye to me.

Steady your steps with faith,

set your eyes on hope,

and remember the important thing is to move.

Let your heart lead you forward

let your dreams keep you going.

And if you get weary or discouraged

if you feel lonely, remember this:

Life is your friend; God is your guide;

and somebody cares about you.

We did everything together and now everyday is just this blank page that I keep refilling with memories of you and words that you wrote me when you were travelling or when you were down. Nobody seems to understand...I don't even understand...what am I supposed to do without you? I took my lead from you, now I feel lost. Dreams? I built my dreams with my sister playing one of the major roles. God help me because I feel like I'm losing myself.
