You don't have to thank me.  Seeing a new name here is actually sad, but we like for everyone to know they are not alone in their journey.

How are you doing?  I hope you made it through the holidays without too much added stress.  I, myself, am so glad they are over.  Hopefully this year will be a little gentler to us all.

I don't think I've seen you post on the 'Missing my son or daughter' wall.  That's okay, but if you need a place to vent you will be understood there.

Hope you are taking care of yourself.

Tammy, I am so sorry for your losses, and I'm sorry I didn't see your page sooner.  We hate to welcome anyone to this site, but as you probably have seen, there are many of us here.  The wall on Missing my son or daughter is a good place for venting and getting support.  Please come there and introduce yourself or post anything as we don't always see newcomers.

I know how hard it is for you right now and with the holidays approaching it can make it unbearable.  We do understand.  We are all going through this.  Some have been here longer than others, but we all have lost a part of ourselves and I can't imagine how torn you are with losing a daughter and a granddaughter.

My thoughts are with you.  (((Hug)))

Sibling Loss

This group is for anyone that has lost a brother or sister. Sibling loss is often minimized and people don't realize how devastating losing a sibling can be. I lost my older sister and my life will never be the same. She was my only sibling, I looked up to her, I went to her for everything. I lost my past, present and future. It is traumatic.See More

Triggers Continue to Surface

Late February is a challenging time of year for me.  Jen’s birthday is the 23rd and serves as an annual reminder of all of the potential that was lost…Her’s (mainly), mine, the world’s honestly.  This year she would be 52…It is increasingly hard to imagine, through all of the iterations possible, what she could have become, what was to be her (significant) impact on the world. That being said, things, emotions, have largely settled down since I committed a potential version of what could have…See More
