About Me:
3 weeks deep in my grieving and trying to work through it. The "Work of Mourning". Struggling every day with wave upon wave of emotions and thoughts.
About my Loss:
The Love of my Life died May 20, 2015 unexpectedly. He was funny and silly beyond belief; he LOVED to tease me about everything! Yet, he was deep and intellectual as well; supportive, caring, giving, and compassionate. We talked about the future -- so many plans!

hi susan thankyou for the message, i am sorry for your loss also, these sudden losses are difficult to believe. i may look into that book and see if it helps me and yes mike is very much around., he was also very funny and silly, to the point i would be just like can you just chill for a little while.. i remember one day we went shopping and he was dancing down the shopping isle pushing the trolley, he would have everyone giggling all the time, this is going to take all of us a long time to adapt to our new normal but im sure in time we will all get there to some degree, thinking of you nicole

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
