About Me:
i am a 31 year old mother of one. i have a wonderful fiance.
About my Loss:
I lost my mom on june 27,2012. i got a phone call at 5:41 am saying something was wrong with my mom and it took me 5 minutes to go 6 miles. when i got to my moms house i saw the paramedics outside and when i walked in i saw my mom lying on the couch lifeless the last time i saw my mom alive was the day before and she looked great. I called my fiance who was about to clock in to work and told him that my mom was dead then i called my brother and sis in law. the paramedics and my stepfather wouldn't let me near her. it took the coroner an hour to get there and then the funeral home another 45 minutes after that. This is the hardest thing i have ever had to go through. i am trying to cope as best as i can but i have some really bad days.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
