I read your post. I just got approved for the site and not sure how to post comments or replies. So here goes. I have a similar story. My wife Roxanne had mitral valve repair in March. It seemed to go well. In Sept something happened. Not sure what. Maybe an infection or the valve failed again. In any case, she died within weeks. Im devastated. She was everything to me. She had had a number other health problems for years but I took care of her and she always rebounded. Now, I don't know what to do with myself. I am sorry for your loss, sounds like a similar unexpected situation. My best to you and your family.
