About Me:
I am 35 Years Old, I have 4 kids, and work full time.
About my Loss:
I lost my mother in January 2012. It had been 5 years since I had seen her.(I had moved to Florida in 2009)She had been in a nursing home, and was suffering from sepsis. I was told she was not well, I flew up there to see her in the hospital, left on Sunday, and Tuesday she went unresponsive. She passed away the following week on Thursday. I am so grateful I got to say goodbye in person. She was my best friend, the rock of our family. I thought I was doing ok , but the last month, has been rough for me. Its like the grief reemerged with a vengeance.

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
