Profile Information

About Me:
43 year old missing my baby sister. Trying to be the strongest for my mom and my girls.
About my Loss:
I lost my baby sister Mother’s Day 2017 to a drug overdose of heroin and Fentanyl. She was 31 years old and had been struggling for at least five years. she would try to stay clean and then fall off the wagon. Spent many nights having conversations because we both understand the pull that this drug has on people. You don’t want to want it. But somehow it makes you feel so much better in every way possible. It’s a sick twisted sad way to live. But you convinced yourself that you need it to show everyone that you can be fun happy altogether even though you’re slowly killing yourself

Assumptions

An assumption is an unexamined belief: what is thought to be true without ever really realizing that we think in that way. For better or worse, understanding starts with entertaining the idea that something is true.  Truly profound thoughts generally come to light from the relaxation of these (flawed) assumptions.  This is where I find myself today...Perhaps, one of the more significant drivers to pushing down the loss and grief at the time of the accident, ignoring it and mindlessly walking…See More
